Dr. Kawasaki is a Japanese emergency department specialist. Patients arriving by ambulance or coming to the emergency department have a variety of symptoms. In his daily practice he is engaged in the treatment of emergency patients, ranging from fever, abdominal pain, chest pain, and headaches to injuries such as cuts and burns.

He also has a degree in public health in the United States and has knowledge about currently prevalent infectious diseases and their treatments.
